So is it confirmed that baron is from the void?

Just more or less asking since this said by riot Jag when asked about the backstory of the Rift Herald "The story behind it is that a Scuttle Crab wandered into Baron's Pit and was warped by the Void." . If Baron is from the void that is interesting what it may prove where a may another gateway from void is and something this large can get through. But of course I could of just misread it and that was just the concept of the Rift herald not official lore of it.
