So...Nasus

I've been reading over the Shuriman lore (I know there will be more that will hopefully explain this, but it's been bugging me) and I have to ask: Where the hell has Nasus been in all of this?

Was he in Shurima when Azir returned? Is he beside Azir right now?

Nasus: Perhaps Shurima was meant to fall. Azir: U wot m8?!

I have my sincere doubts that Nasus is with Azir, so where the hell is he and where has he been? Traveling around the world to every library to research ways to save his brother, then giving up?

My poor attempts at comedy aside, this just feels like a giant plot hole. Nasus and Renekton seem to pop out of nowhere when Xerath betrays everyone. Did they live in Shurima back then or do ascended just sleep when they are not needed? Do they just have this pocket dimension they go to when they want privacy? Probably not since Renekton wouldn't have stayed with Xerath if he could just go to his own pad and chill.

So yeah, Nasus, where was he during the rise?

Nasus was tasked with guarding the vault Xerath and Renekton were trapped inside. For most of the time between the fall of Shurima and the return of Azir he was making sure they went undisturbed.

After Xerath and Renekton were released it is most likely that Nasus is searching for his brother. He intends to save his brother's memory by destroying the beast he has become.

The real question is where was Nasus when Sivir and Cassiopeia stumbled upon the vault.

I think he's probably either running from, or searching for, his enraged brother.

Don't know, but Nasus got some serious beef with Azir for starting the whole damn mess to begin with, so I think that he wouldn't be on good terms with the birdman.
