. It just makes so much sense with his character and their character. This is extremely important to me, I love all three of these characters, even if I don't play Poppy personally. And Galio being listed as friends with Shyvana and Poppy has always made me very happy. I love the bit where "Galio's wisdom is one of the few things that can calm Shyvana down." I love that, so much.
Yeah, the Terrific Trio of Demacia shouldn't be split up.
I feel that Galio's wisdom was part of old lore that "may" have been retcon'd; however, just looking at the guy suggests that he's ancient. Like, Poppy being friends with Galio is legit because she was around for when he first came to be (remember Poppy has been with Demacia at its founding). I mean, unless he was some hidden guardian long before Orlon founded the fledgling settlement.
With how big he is now, though, I am not sure how he'll actually interact with anyone outside of a combat setting unless he has full sentience (which he should, but he also looks like something that remains hidden until called upon)
I always loved their companion ship. It was so cute, and I've seen a lot of lovely fan-art of the Three.
I loved the idea of 's determination inspiring Galio to keep on going.

's Wisdom calming Shyvana down when she has her outbursts.
We have very few humble champions in League (hell a majority of the new champions are nothing but cocky bastards), and it'll be sad if we see Galio go completely, even if his new lore is more expansive or relevant etc.
Honestly,why is it seen as such an important connection?They barely interacted with each other in the old lore. I mean seriously,the only thing connecting the 2 did was poppy dozing off in galios presence,without noticing him at all,yet everyone makes such a big deal out of it.

so people have forgotten galio's lore summary he was created eons ago by a wizard in demacia and was his main golem bodyguard and when noxus assassins killed his master, galio remained by his master's side through the centuries until poppy came by and napped by him. Her solemn and resolute demeanor gave rise to galio seeking out what had become of the city he was also protecting and joining the league of legends. donzo

is not longer connected to demacia, but it would be cool if they still were friends or at least related.
so it's personal and not something that is actually "Needed" -.- His only connection to Poppy was in his and Poppy's old lore when Poppy took shelter under him and didn't even know he was alive, and that he conversed with an image of Poppy during his Judgement when he became part of The League when it was still a thing. I don't recall Poppy having any mention of Galio in her new lore.
