Eve and Elise might have to get entirely retconned?

It's said that the Shadow Isle's Black mist will kill someone when approaching near or on the Isles.....That means that Elise could have never got her spider powers without getting passed the mist.

And Evelynn......no words.

About elise: Maybe the black rose actually has tools to protect them from the black mist? The new lore talks about a mystical veil protecting the blessed islands,so maybe that veil transformed into the black mist and can still be cleared away with the very same words that kalista used to get to the islands?

Alternatively it is possible that the black mist has its up and down times. After the harrowing it might disappear for a few weeks/months/whatever completely until it regenerated its power.Karthus merely arrived at a time where the black mist was powerful enough to manifest again.

Wasn't evelynn born in the shadow isles? And didn't Elise have her powers before that, and just worships the vilemaw?

Elise's connection with Vilemaw might give her immunity to the Mist. As for Evelynn, we don't know anything about her anyway other than she dated Twisted Fate.

What? Where?

Then, the "job" of Hecarim would be pointless.

I mean, look at this video: https://youtu.be/s2FFGBPXNeU?t=73

The guy does not die intermediately.
