Review Ahri's New Lore ( /10)!

"6/10 - Daring choice to go for a battle scene during wartime. Ahri's desire for acceptance in the village is a good way to portray her building 'humanity' (though I'm biased because I wrote that in a fanfic once), but the lack of emphasis on that quality and focus on the battle dilutes it a little. Last line attempted to convey emotion through imagery, which is good. Battle was more like an ability showcase than a way of portraying bestial qualities however, which took away from the narrative. Sentiments of hatred and retribution felt jarring and ended up feeling a lot like 'Tell' rather than 'Show'. Perhaps if the story had started sometime earlier, then we would have more context for those feelings, but in this case I felt like they came out of the blue (at least, intensity wise). Had some nice diction and wasn't bad at all, but neither did I fell like there were many highlights, so I felt it was a bit better than average."
