And post a comment too sharing why, if it suits your fancy. I'll start:

"6/10 - Daring choice to go for a battle scene during wartime. Ahri's desire for acceptance in the village is a good way to portray her building 'humanity' (though I'm biased because I wrote that in a fanfic once), but the lack of emphasis on that quality and focus on the battle dilutes it a little. Last line attempted to convey emotion through imagery, which is good. Battle was more like an ability showcase than a way of portraying bestial qualities however, which took away from the narrative. Sentiments of hatred and retribution felt jarring and ended up feeling a lot like 'Tell' rather than 'Show'. Perhaps if the story had started sometime earlier, then we would have more context for those feelings, but in this case I felt like they came out of the blue (at least, intensity wise). Had some nice diction and wasn't bad at all, but neither did I fell like there were many highlights, so I felt it was a bit better than average."

Happy for the characterization, fight was boring. Was tell not show and standard Noxian mooks. Gave it a 7.

6/10: The writing on the new Ahri lore was decent, but imo fancy writing doesn't make substance. Overall the lore didn't have much impact because nothing important happened. We got a bit of Ahri's perspective when it told us about how she watches the villagers, but it doesn't capitalize on that at all. The showing off of her abilities was cool for the first part of it, but it occured to me by the end that it felt more like checking off tick boxes for appeal, rather than something that expands the character. At least she didn't go to the league of legends.

Keep in mind that this is probably more the "small-story"-part of her lore. If you look at the lores of the Shadow isles-champs or Kindred/Illaoi,you'll notice that they pretty much have a bio and a small story.

This wouldn't be 100% of her full lore.

Well, you have to review it on the basis of what is there, rather than what isn't unfortunately.

Yes,but you should also review something based on what it is and not what you'd want it to be.

It makes a difference if i read it and expect a full lore or if i read it and expect a small story.

I don't think I'm disputing that. My review is based on what is there, and my conclusion is that it felt out of context because of lack of full lore. Even if I expect a small story as you say, that doesn't make up for lack of context without proper build up, etc. which I don't think was in there.

8/10 It portrays her perfectly, Her personality, Her humanity and morality. Also I love how her abilities were discovered, Also making the haters that said she is a sl*t tear up is pretty dope.

How were her abilities discovered in the story? It seemed to me she already had them in setting.
