Im really hyped for the new champ, and i was almost 100% sure that they are going to be released in patch 7.14, but since we havent got any teasers (other than the blog post, but im talking about maybe an ability reveal a picture on social media or even an animation), i kinda doubt now that we are going to see the new champ as soon as i imagined. Do you think we still have some hope?
invisiblecat11 votesRiot spent a few months after Camille to release Xayah and Rakan. And also Xayah and Rakan are two separate champion, so I wouldn't expect a new release for a month or two

the preseason happens mostly in 7.24 . We have now 9 patches left for 4 Champ releases (remember World's need some balance patches) So a time schedule could be

If there isn't a teaser tomorrow or the day after then there probably isn't going to be a new champion in the next patch. But most definitely the next champ will be out in July.
I'm thinking Riot wants Urgot available during worlds so he should follow soon after, maybe August.

GreenLore3 votesThey clarified that there are 3 champion teams. The 2 that worked on Kled and Ivern were the ones that made Xayah and Rakan.
The 3rd one is the one that made Camille,so their next champion has nothing to do with Xayah and Rakan(and they are supposed to release a new champ roughly every 6 months,just like the VGU teams)

KoKoboto1 votesI enjoy playing Kled and Illaoi but I wanted a more intricate fighter like Riven or Yasuo. Reason why I don't play Riven or Yasuo right now is because Riven is is played so much and I'm not too found of being mainstream (hehe xd), Yasuo is cancer.

Riot is doing small Teaser and Teaser over long time (jhin / kled) when the champion got no public spotlight. The new champion got a reveal in the post. So doing a a cinematic Teaser on Monday is enough Abilities preview are coming 2 have before the PBE patch goes live. So what isn't a Teaser. And with the release of the quest system we are able to get a Champ post event. So big long teasers over a long time aren't needed.
