aurelion sol teaser confirms other planets with life
alien champion when
alien champion when
Well I think we already assumed this. I mean, there's the Void after all.
that's a different dimension
not another planet
alien champion when
We have alien themed skins, which count in a way, especially since Yordles were supposedly to have traveled to Runeterre on a massive space ship. (It's in the lore somewhere, i don't know where.)
yordles have a mothership
but it doesnt work
and gnar is a primitive yordle, from when yordles were primitive
also skins arent canon. mostly
Aliens are anything not originating from your home. Thus any thing from another dimension would be an alien.
Also, I don't know why it hadn't occurred to you before that there could be other habitable planets in Runeterra's universe. For one, many champion's lore mention other planets.
I WANT ALIEBN
They literally just announced a dragon that comes from outer space. Is that not alien enough for you? If he wasn't born on Runeterra (and no alternate dimension shenanigans) then by my standards he is an alien.
Is that not alien enough for you?
no
this was confirmed with both bard and illaoi im pretty sure.
bard is from another dimension
illaoi's god might be similar to elise's god only magic
also possibly from another dimension
Where does it say that bard is from another dimension... he is a cosmic protector meaning he goes around the universe protecting. Sorry but you should actually read the lore. ATM Malphite, kayle, morgana, and taric are from another planet, thus conisdered "aliens". With the taric rework he might change where he is from, but at this moment, those are the ones specifically from another planet. Only ones from another "dimension" are those from the void.
Well they once worked on a champ called Averdrian who definetly looked like an alien http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/e/ef/Averdrian.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/180?cb=20091030230944
I'd say an alien champ would not be completely out of question, though he would probably be more mystical than alienesque.
I mean...

Do they not count?
read the thred b4 u post :^)
I did. And yes, the Void is not "another world" in the traditional sense, but all of the Voidborn that have been released so far are very similar to pop culture's definition of aliens. Kha'Zix is basically a xenomorph from Alien, Cho'Gath could be a kaiju, and Vel'Koz is quite similar to the stereotypical "abduct and probe" aliens we had a long time ago. The Void is really just a stand-in for extraterrestrials.
I mean, what would you want to see in an alien champion that the Void hasn't already covered, or couldn't cover?
i never said "another world" because i didnt mean "another world" :^)
also i'd suggest you google xenomorph because thats wrong
What, then, is your definition of an alien champion? Usually when people say that they mean beings from another planet, so that was my immediate assumption. Sorry, should've asked for clarification first.
I did google xenomorph and came up with exactly the creatures I was expecting to see. Unless there's another movie franchise out there that named their primary antagonists "xenomorphs"...
exist in same dimension from another planet
void from nother dimension
not aliens
Think it's just a case of tomato, tomahto at this point. To me, the Void is as close to alien life as League is going to get. But who knows? Maybe we'll end up with extraterrestrial - but still intragalactic - life.
I mean...

void is a different dimension of the same plain i think, but definitely not another planet.
As I said above while talking to Resumed, while the Void is not a different planet by the strictest of definitions, its beings certainly have an extraterrestrial vibe. Kha'Zix is basically a xenomorph, Vel'Koz is a stereotypical "abduct and probe" alien from scifi, Cho'Gath is a kaiju, etc. So while they're not aliens by the usual definition, they're still definitely not of this world and fill the same niche. Hence my reasoning for believing that we don't need a champion from another planet when those from the Void will do just fine.
From Cho'Gath's lore:
There is a place between dimensions, between worlds. To some it is known as the Outside, to others it is the Unknown. To those that truly know, however, it is called the Void.
So the Void is very definitely not in Runeterra.
_Taric, the Gem Knight, is Runeterra's sole practitioner of this form of magic, having been erratically summoned to Runeterra from a faraway world. _
In a world far away where an ancient war still rages, Kayle was a great heroine - the strongest of an immortal race committed to destroying evil wherever it could be found
