So the new Vayne story paints her as much more of a corrupted hero

She seems to still hunt monsters, but she also seems to be going mad. It's like the thrill of the hunt is taking over her. She's making unnecessary grandiose, being unnecessarily cruel, murdering her own teacher who was benevolent to her and trusted her.

I think she's very close to going off the deep end, and it gives me a very Bloodborne-esque Gascoigne vibe from her. I quite like it, the fact that not everybody from Demacia has to be good.

I'm not sure I necessarily like it, though. The Vayne I know doesn't make mistakes or stupid decisions or flashy moves. She did what she had to do, to get the job done. Nothing escape her. She was never... Happy. But now she's having fun and making flashy plays? Ehh. Idk about this new Vayne.

I like it a lot. Before Vayne was Batman. That was about it.

New Lore definitely adds a bit of a curve to her that wasn't there before, she's not wiping out dark magic just because it's evil, it seems like part of her thinks it's fun. She's gone pretty far off the deep end, and I remember an old topic on the original Lore forums asking if Vayne would hurt Amumu, since he's pretty innocent, just accidentally wielding some dangerous powers.

I think the answer's a pretty clear "Yep." now.

Vayne is a fucked up bitch. SHe doesn't give a fuck about killing monsters to protect others, for shits n giggles. She is more of a monster than a lot of them. Her killing Frey and the widow Shapeshifter was the last straw.

Vayne is officially Neutral Evil thinking she is chaotic good.

But Vayne is "Good" in her eyes and spectrum of morality. I don't think Vayne sees any of her kills as acts of evil. That's kind of the point of Demacia a part from Lux where "Good" = "Justice" and what Vayne does is her justice.

Well she's not a hero. She's just trying to find the one who killed her parents. Until then, any body she deems an enemy is filling that hatred.....just fo the moment

I like it and i don't at the same time. I like it becuase i really like the "vayne" in the story, but i don't like it becuase it's not vayne. First off i'm not a vayne player(i kinda was for a little bit) and i only glimpsed at her old lore. With that said i never thought of vayne as bloodthirsty like she is in this lore. She is honestly WAY too close to Evelynn . Vayne was pretty much batman. She is obsessively driven to fight the "darkness", she is cold/brooding, but she is not bloodthirsty. She feels it's her duty to fight evil, but she wouldn't murder someone. If she was in a situation where she could either kill the monster or save an innocent, I always thought she would chose the latter "vayne always chooses the latter"(this poor writing made me cringe lol). Of course this new vayne would not only not try to save the innocent, but would kill them herself if she had any reason too.

But, i mean this is riot's lore team after all. Poor writing and changing characters personalities for no reason is what they do.
