With Mordekaiser being updated left, right and center

Is there any news of a potential VU for the Iron Revenant? His lore just builds him up to be this hulking metal suit inhabited by a soul blacker than the blackest black, times infinity.

Heck, even his respawn animation would be his dark soul arising and being shielded in his blackened armor.

Just putting the question in the room #HarrowingHype

If you payed attention to countless other champs that will be getting a VU before him, you would know the likelyhood of him getting a VU soon ishighly unlikely. Heck, even the VUs mentioned are not being released anytime soon, some are, but the rest still take more time and if it takes more than 3 months, its not soon at all.

Unless, and only if this happens to be, if Shadow Isles Harrowing this year is treated as a lore event on the same par as previous ones in the past like Bilgewater, meaning faction related lore, skins, and VUs...In which case the possibility of a VU is higher since riot moves certain VUs ahead of time for lore events if need be.

Not 'countless' but rather a few.

Mordekaiser undoubtedly has one of the ugliest models in the game, as well as less than excellent animations.

Other champions will probably come before him, due to being in an even worse state, but Morde is not anywhere near in an acceptable level of quality.

I think the order at this point might be: Poppy Taric Yorick (since they already laid some ground work on his new kit, Riot might as well go ahead) Mordekaiser

But you never know, I think no one knew Riot was working on the update for Gangplank till they announced it, so it is possible they could be working on him in secret.

I have seen this link to the wiki going around the forums a couple times now and we need a disclaimer that the last update on this was 2 years old. It is HIGHLY LIKELY these concepts were already scrapped. Riot has already changed who was working on the project:

Alright, I want to thank everyone for their contributions to this thread, but I am locking it for the time being.

After some discussion, I'm handing off the Yorick rework prototype to RiotScruffy (who did a great job on Skarner as you'll see very soon) - and we've reordered the reworks we're doing. Yorick will likely get a larger rework than Xerath, but this means we need substantially more time to do it right.

Now the real question is whether or not Scruffy is still on the case, because according to ZenonTheStoic he is going to have the most relevant and current info on Yorick.

Edit: but I do think a lot of the ideas on there were really awesome for making Yorick more interactive AND a better summoner/necromancer champ.
