New model, new textures, tweaked animations in specific areas and some new VFX.

No new voice and no new animations on him. Still a massive upgrade.

He's also branded.

But I am kinda sad that they didn't update the animations and VO,I really hate it when champs have small VOs or when they lack animations,I hope they'll eventually start to update these seperately.

Animating and the VO are just about the hardest parts of the process. Animations especially since you have to build them from scratch, and considering Ali's rigging isn't the best, even those tweaks were likely a real bitch to do.

yeah I know,but I'd like to see some bigger VUs anyway XD

I mean this year we've got 4 full VUs with Sion Karthus Twitch & Heimerdinger ,while last year we've got 8 I can fully understand that thats because Updates become harder and harder as the champion quality becomes better(not to mention that sion was one of the biggest updates ever) and that its because we are getting more smaller updates(all these TUs and MTUs,as well as the texture rebalances),but I really hoped Alistar could get a complete VU,because he is quite lacking in terms of VO and animations.

It is a bit dissappointing that they didn't give him the full shabang, but it's not like he'll never get revisited for more updates like this. Everything in League is pretty much work in progress, and there's likely plans for him further down the line.
