So yeah about Tarics "gems"

So we've had a lot about Taric and his character and his role as a paladin,but I actually didn't see that much talk about his gems.

I mean gems are central to his character,so I think they are worth discussing.

what bothers me a bit is that tarics gems look more like crystals http://www.wallpaperweb.org/wallpaper/Digital_art/1920x1200/708_crystals.jpg

while i think that some crystal like structures on his armor are ok,I think there should be put more emphasis on the gem-part(I mean we have already skarner for crystal power) Also Taric talks about the different powers of different gems and I thought it would be a cool idea if he would actually wear different kinds of gems and if these could be integrated into his kit in some way. I mean lets take his current kit(which might also get a change) as an example. His Q would actually come from an emerald in his shield His W would come from a saphire on his diadem His E would come from a ruby on his hammer And his ult would come from a diamond on his chest (dunno about his passive,but that could come from somewhere too,like an opal on his hand or something like that)

I think this would fit tarics character,regardless of how serious riot is going to take him(the only problem I could see would be to include this into his skins in some way,but it should still be possible)
