Will there ever be cutscenes like the more recent Overwatch cinematics?

I refer of course to "Recall", "Alive", and "Dragons", where two characters from the game cross paths in battle, ones that show both how they fight and their personalities. So far, League has only done cinematics featuring one Champion at a time (with a few exceptions) or team fight cinematics with no actual dialogue.

I'd personally LOVE to see a cinematic where Azir and Xerath fight each other, with said battle ending in a stalemate, but still with meaningful consequences. Unless that's a "it'd break the game" kind of cinematic, it's gotta happen at some point in animation, not just writing.

hmmm... i doubt they would be as ood as Blizzards. Dont get me wrong, I love LoL and most characters, but lets be honest, lore is NOT Riots biggest selling point (Maybe thats partly because they change it every time they want to get a new map or champion or even just visual update promoted)

In other words, a more lore-centric cinematic? They've had cinematics for a while, and now they've had scenes and comics for their champions, but you are specifically asking for two champs crossing paths correct? I don't think it's necessary, though I would like their lore to be more accessible/easier to read. They should make a lore page with some sort of TLDR, because it can take hours to find lore sometimes.
