Something That Could Be Interesting For Mt Targon

With the upcoming reworking of Mt. Targon's lore in the pipeline, there seems to be a chance to do more than simply bring the lore of Diana, Pantheon and Leona into line with the current worldsetting. In fact, the two previous major lore reworkings with the Winter Tribes and Bilgewater did throw in a Champion or two who's old lore were dependent on the now non-existent Institute of War and making them a part of that setting. To that end, there are actually two more Champions who have a similar "day" and "night" dynamic to Leona and Diana who's current Lore is very dependent on the Institute being a thing and could probably use a rework to fit on the new status quo.

I am, of course, speaking of Kayle and Morgana.

Perhaps whatever race they are a part of are considered (or actually are) agents of the sun god/goddess that the Solari worship or the moon god/goddess that the Lunari worshiped before they were wiped out. Perhaps, along with what would become her weapon, Diana finds a trapped Morgana and, hungry to learn what she knows about the Lunari of the past, willingly frees her. This action, more than anything, would probably be what causes the Solari elders to flip out and try to execute Diana on sight, leaving her understandably angry and closer to Morgana, since they now both desire revenge as well as feeling they must fight for their right to live with the freedom they wish.

On the other side of things, both Kayle and Leona are well meaning but while Kayle is firm in her faith that she is acting in the right (and while things are a little on the overly strict side, she tries to discourage any talks of outright purges and genocides, not wanting a repeat of that horrible, tragic angelic war of old), Leona is perhaps a little more uncertain. She likes protecting people and does believe that the Soliari's ideals are good and worth pursuing... but is not quite sure those currently in power are actually living up to those ideals.

While Leona does not speak these doubts aloud, Kayle can probably sense them... and seeing the parallels between what has become of Leona and Diana's relationship reminds her far too much of her own relationship with her sister, which she would either shake off as a sad necessity of reality or perhaps lead to the possibility that she could gain her own doubts as well.

Pantheon would throw in with the Solari side both because it was what he was raised and trained to do and he is a MAN that is FIRM in his beliefs. Plus he likes and respects Leona's skill and determination a lot that he'd follow her anywhere. (And no, shut up, it IS NOT an extension of an old childhood crush shutupshutupshutup!)

Then I guess you could add some Lunari-themed new Champion who's some sort of "Anti-Pantheon" to stand with Diana and Morgana and you'd have a nice mirroring of three Champions who could stand together in Lore to build around.

Well, that went longer than I thought but it was just an interesting idea I had to share.

Thoughts?

I would prefer to keep Kayle and Morgana as not being part of the Targon lore, I /do/ want a new Lunari champion however.

Strongly.

I like it. Other options beyond Demacia and Noxus are always cool. I still think a Targon event should focus from Pantheon's perspective though.

You know, since Pantheon is based off of Sparta, maybe the new champ could be based off of Athens.

Also, this is an interesting idea. I find it slightly odd that Morgana is allied with Noxus, even though, if you look at her lore, she is not evil, though she does practice the black arts.
The conflict between the Lunari and Solari seems more fitting for Kayle and Morgana, since neither conflict is simply black and white, unlike the conflict between Demacia and Noxus. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

While I think Kayle would fit nicely into targon,I would disagree with this idea. The thing is that the conflict between kayle and morgana is already quite similar to that of leona and diana(one woman in golden armor who represents good against a rebellious woman in dark who is depicted as more "evil")

"Anti-Pantheon"

As in a flamboyant lazy boy? You know, this does line up with Tarics character update.

You know, he does want to help people but at his own time, he has to make sure he looks good for the occasion. To, ya know, impress all the ladies (and the men).
