First you'd think Miss Fortune saved Bilgewater from Gangplank. But then his "death" turns out to have just screwed over Bilgewater even more because of all the chaos. Sure Gangplank rule with an iron fist, but at least he kept order.
Perhaps the next lore entry will be Gangplank's return to sort out Bligewater?

THIS TIMES A MILLION.
TAKE MY INTERNETS.
Anyhow its either Gangplank or some new champion that will be released. Everyone else is pretty much leaving Bilgewater (TF, Graves), and then you have people who really aren't tied to Bilgewater (Fizz, Nami and Tahm Kench). If Gangplank doesn't come back its basically going to be a PVE where MF just culls through Bilgewater killin' anyone who misses Gangplank and liked it when the trash was picked up on time.
GreenLore2 votesYeah I guess the savior that was mentioned is the person who brings back the order to Bilgewater(GP dying is most likely the "it-gets-worse-part").
It could be Miss Fortune,it could be Gangplank returning, but it could also be a new champion.

I will stock pile my rocks for making massive tidal waves and try to help those trying to save Bilgewater.
