's childhood mist have been crucial to him becoming the murder emperor. Nobody with a decent childhood would become a tyrant hellbent on eternal conquest who resorted to necromancy to make his lust for domination surpass his mortal coil.
was disinherited from his noble family (hence no surname). Probable reason is his recessive mutation (albinism - white hair red eyes) which shows he (probably) was a child of incest. This also explains why he was a murderous psychopath at an early age, since inbred kids are often prone to mental issues. Also his parents not wanting to name him as their own to avoid being persecuted might have played a part.
