Anyone here remembers Shadow and Fortune? I have a question.

How did Thresh manage to develop his so called immunity to Lucian's weapons after he "tore their secrets" out of Senna's mind? What kind of power is that? Is it a special power Thresh possesses or can Mordekaiser, Hecarim, etc do it too?

Taken from the paragraph:

Chapter Four She is not Dead, Strange Bedfellows, In Motion Again

I am really starting to become curious as for what powers the dead truly possess. It only feels as if they display not even half of their true potential gameplay wise and their own lores. I went over Thresh and Mordekaiser and I didn't find anything about developing an immunity to the relic pistols, or any weapon or power for that matter..

Thresh is really bizarre.

So Thresh starts out as a human man who is a part of an order on the Blessed Isles and he is tasked with guarding powerful and corrupted magical artifacts. Over time the magic from these artifacts slowly starts rotting Thresh's morals and mind slowly evolving him into a sadistic fuck.

"When the disaster known as the Ruination struck, magical shockwaves claimed the lives of all who lived on the isles and transformed them into a state of undeath. While others screamed in anguish, Thresh reveled in the ruin. He rose from this cataclysm as a spectral abomination, but unlike many who have passed into the shadow world, Thresh did not lose his identity. Rather, his penchant for cruel torture and ability to discern weakness was only heightened."

It also states Thresh would "torture" spells by not finishing the incantation, so we know he possessed some sort of magical ability as a human.

So I figure Thresh's abilities are somewhat unknown, though we know he is capable of magic and spells. After the corruption I think his powers only increased in power and ability.

So perhaps after the fight with Senna & Lucian, Thresh went back to his vault of artifacts and lost knowledge and potentially found a counter-artifact or spell or some kind of immunity.

It also seems as if his power is growing along with the power of the Shadow Isles so it wouldn't surprise me as the stronger he gets the more immunities he gets.

I just figured he learned how to use the very souls in his lantern as a shield, or at least draw power from them to make a shield.
