Due to timing, the events are all grouped together. That’s why all the stuff will be with worlds tokens, it’s why the worlds pass also gives benefits for the Halloween event.

Riot, sometimes the best decision is to just don't do it. It's clear you wanted to do a Halloween login. But you didn't want the World's hype to go away yet. It's very clear which one got top priority here. Rather than giving Halloween a unique login with unique music, you just gave a 520 skin to the World's one & called it a night.

This just reeks of laziness.

I just saw this and was like "WHAT?!" It's so unoriginal compared to previous years.

First snubbing a login screen for Dragon Trainer Heimerdinger, and now this? Rito is really desperate to stir up hype for Worlds...

Then again, the April Fools login was really lazy this year as well.

It astounds me how you guys find new ways to bite Riot’s head off about the stupidest of things. I would understand if you were just underwhelmed and a little disappointed. With the kinds of login screens they’ve cranked out in the past, that’s completely understandable. However, to get this heated over something so trivial and make it about how Riot no longer cares about the common player is asinine.

Didn’t it ever cross your mind that Riot might’ve just gone “eh, why not?” Yeah, they could’ve done more, but it’s not part of some big malicious sceam to get those tasty views for the LC$. The concept of Occam’s Razor exists for a reason.

Besides that, it’s not like they irreversibly changed League. IT’S A FUCKING LOGIN SCREEN. Calm the fuck down. It’s not like this even remotely stacks up to what people are actually complaining about when people say Riot’s going down the drain. We’re talking sexism scandals and ignoring the playerbase. How can so many of you think that this isn’t minor?

Honestly, this post says a lot more about the community than it does Riot.
