EDIT: I actually really like Sona so I want her to get some story stuff going in the foreseeable future, but for now we've have a schedule booked with three different locales at least for probably the next six months or more. Anything can happen, but we have these things in the sorta relative future.

Well Jhin is an artist and technically a performer judging by how he prances around and such during battle. As such another performer like a master musician would somewhat naturally be a rival for him. Oops, wrong comment, ah well- too lazy to change it.

Well you must remember, Sona is the best example of a celebrity we have in Runeterra, EVERYONE loves Sona. She isn't simply a competitor, that would imply there was a competition to begin with. There isn't a place in Runeterra where she isn't welcome. She doesn't even have any rivals under her champion page, lol.

Would be a pretty juicy target if you ask me.

Little known fact about Sona, all of the Smite and Ignite songs were written by her, and they are actually her past lore. Pentakill Sona is the real Sona.

Annie Lives with her parents who are still alive. Lux Parents are alive, she just got sent off to military school. Not an uncommon thing. Orianna Father "transplanted" her soul into an artificial body after she died. Quite the opposite of abandonment. Cassiopeia Family is still alive and supports her despite the curse, although her father is PRESUMABLY dead. Though there's no proof of that. Katarina Cass's older sister.

That's quite a list of exceptions. In general, every female other than Annie and Lulu are all adults and most of them either didn't lose their parents until after adulthood or their lore doesn't particularly mention them and we can assume they had relatively normal childhoods.

The Orianna is a stretch and technically, Cass and Kat lost their mother young and Marcus went missing. Plus depending on your view of Lux's parents, they either 'encouraged' her to join the military or outright forced her. Annie lore is correct. Out of 42 female champs, you got 2, maybe 3. >.> Feels like Disney up in here (Mothers always mia/dead/etc)

It would be nice to see what Sona actually does. All we know is she was an orphan, apparently killed her adopted mother although not necessarily on purpose and thought to be the work of the Etawhl doing it itself, was secretly training herself how to be combative with the Etawhl and the rest was that she joined LoL to show off that combative skill, but now we know that can't happen.

This is not correct - she did NOT kill her adoptive mother Lestara. Thanks for the downvote, but it straight up never says if she DID or DIDN'T kill Lestara for real. JoJ are generally things that did happen to champions, i.e Miss Fortunes circumstances. Yes it's a vision, but by your definition of vision that means it didn't happen at all, meanwhile it could have been a vision, even a slightly altered vision, of the past. So yeah cool downvote kiddo.

she does have a story... she was abandoned on an orphanage's steps in zaun with her etwahl, and grew up there. her caretakers tried many times to sell her etwahl for extra money, but it would always come back. eventually someone came by and took a huge interest in sona and her etwahl, and took them in, training and teaching her how to use it....

The orphanage was in Ionia, not Zaun. Her adoptive mother was Demacian aristocracy and so she lives in Demacia ever since.
