One small tweak to Riot's lore philosophy could make a big difference (READ INSIDE)

So, my favorite game ever lore-wise is dark souls/dark souls 2. Why? Well, the game is very open ended and allows for lots of interpretation. However, with some clever theory crafting and the addition of Scholar of the First Sin (expansion), it is possible to craft a pretty logical ending/explanation for the game that left me satisfied after hours and hours of watching lore vids.

I think League has some good ideas story-wise, however there is not enough updates on these mysteries to ever make them relevant. For example, the first time i read Zed's lore, I was very intrigued. But, Riot hasn't made any new content for theory-crafters to work with.

tldr; Riot should give us a tad more content to allow for more accurate theorycrafting without spoiling the mysteries.

As flawed as the old lore was, one thing I deeply miss is the player's/fan's ability to interact with lore. The current Super Smash Bros. style of lore-telling isn't really cutting it, because it actually creates a disconnect between players and the story.

It's pretty telling how people respond to the lore nowadays with how barely anyone in this board discusses it in detail outside of how much it sucks, when a few years back, the board was practically drunk with its own sub-community of role-players and theory crafters that made all the out-of-game content feel worthwhile.
