So now the darkin (Varus) had to get these two gay dudes to create a new body so that it can get revenge on... the guy who killed the darkin's family.. like 50k years ago

No seriously this started off as a joke but seriously

darkin seem to feed off the emotional life energies of men,

so like, a darkin that didn't just do the same shit as would be nice (They all seem to just feed off of death and mysery)

varus could like... feed off of hope, or love or some shit

and he could actually be a good guy darkin (Meme plz)

I am surprisingly okay with this. Just pretend all the old Varus lore applies to Varus the Bow, and now he has a legitimate characterization, and then you still get the interesting benefit of the gestalt that is Varus.

I'd still largely prefer the old lore, but this is a funny enough headcanon.

The idea is maybe we could flesh out darkin lore a little more so that they're more than just spooky daemons (Thats clearly an oversimplification but... it's actually a pretty valid statement regardless)

the concept that his "Wife" and "Child" could actually be some strange situation in which varus the entity, sought some sort of atonement, or reached a sort of emotional evolution , turning him from what was once just another blood thirsty intelligent weapon, to something that fealt, loved.

this would give him an excuse, if his backstory was based on love lost, then usage of the two spirits of gay dudes and their bodies to form a new body could be like "Yo i gotta do this, but like, your man bout to die so Imma just take you both and you can stay together or whatnot.. sorta"

Also that's how varus talks now

"Hey bro, hope you don't mind but I gotta go clear a wave"

so yeah the bow had been bonded to a person while it met a woman and had a child, Aatrox or Kayn couldn't abide this and essentially banished him to the well after slaying them
