What cane? I see a rifle, but no cane. Is it a leftover from development, or does he call/refer to the gun as a cane?[zombie-brand-clap]

His whole rifle consists of 3 parts,the gun(for the Q and autoattacks),the accelerator(the thing on his shoulder for the ult) and the cane(for the W).
the cane is like the barrel of his rifle.

It's probably referring to the stock in his off-hand that he uses as a cane when walking.
