If Akali needs a heavier rework than the class update could provide

Is it possible to see her have more shadow focused particle effects or abilities like Zed?

Akali is known as the fist of shadow in the kinkou order. But with the retcon, it may be possible that positions in the kinkou have different meanings than they had originally.

I've heard a few theories a while back that brought up Akali being the true inheritor of the shadows before Zed took them, hence why she was the fist of shadow.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is, what is Akali's thematic identity and does it have connections with her title?

I can understand it but zed is already the shadow ninja so akali need another thematic (maybe smoke?)

I doubt that they'd give her shadow effects.

The thing is that champs try to fill different archetypes that makes them unique and giving akali shadow attacks as well would pretty much mean that Zed isn't THE shadow ninja of the game anymore,but only one of 2.

I mean that is pretty much the reason why they gave Shen a spirit sword to differentiate him more from the other ninjas;)

You're bringing out lore into this??? LOL

Janna is basically a goddess of the storm and her Q get's blocked by le balanced samurai's windwall. Soraka's lore mentions sacrifice ... nothing about using her life force to heal allies or manipulating lifeforces in a S&M way.

This game is not lore accurate. If you want lore , go see Dota2.
