Q&A Request for the Lore Team, if one exists.

For too long we've been pretty much left in the dark.

I think it'd be great if they could start up a thread about whichever faction, setting, or category of Champion they're planning on reworking next. Recently, they've been pretty good about making their new material "backwards compatible", but I'm still anxious that they're going to show up and completely rewrite something fundamental, like they did in the Great Retcon.

Basically, it's like how the gameplay and art teams will sometimes make community threads to talk ideas for an upcoming rework. "We're reworking Skarner. What's important about Skarner? How could we improve him? Here are some ideas; what do you think of those?"

For example, let's say they're reworking Demacia next. They could start a Demacia thread and talk about its core characteristics, what people like about it, and so on, and also share some of the ideas they're batting around the office, e.g., "We're thinking about making the Purifiers an actual order of undead slayers, with Lucian being their most famous member."

I really, really don't like it when major rewrites come out of nowhere, with no discussion at all. It's at least as disorienting as logging in one day to find that your Champion's abilities have all been completely changed, and then discovering that they never even tried to speak with that Champion's fans.

I've raised this suggestion more than once. Sometimes, Narrative seems to like the idea; other times, they seem to think it's an unreasonable request. (I'm genuinely unsure what they think at the moment.) I don't consider it unreasonable: isn't this one of the best things about having an active, passionate community? That you can talk with them and get some thoughts and reactions from outside of the office echo chamber?

Personally, I nominate Valoran or Runeterra itself for the first topic, should Narrative decide to cooperate with us. I have no idea what the actual state of Valoran is. I have no idea what it actually looks like. I don't know if all the major factions are where they used to be or what all of them did, because the League is toast. I don't know who are enemies and who are allies. So I'm curious more about the setting the champions inhabit than the champions themselves. We have tons of champion-centric lore, but precious little about the world that defines the champions.

3 weeks now and that discussion we were promised is rotting!
