OK CONSPIRACY TIME!

We all know Bard's title as "the great caretaker" and we know that he's something on the level of a god, if not the manifestation of a natural force. Also his design is really, really going into the Ionian direction. And what do Ionians believe in? Balance. It would only make sense if there was an opposing force existing in the world, a being that's the total opposite of Bard.

The one who protects everything VS the one who can handle every weapon and wrecks everything even with a lamppost. You see what Jax can do to towers... it's not hard to imagine him as "the great demolition spirit". But why isn't jax a spooky ghost then? Well, because he's supposed to be the total opposite: one appears like a ghost while the other appears human.

But that's just one theory amonst many.

Btw isn't Jax allinged with Ionia somehow?

I do think he looks like Jax, and I also think his spells look very Soraka esq. I foresee a good friendship between those two!

I fully expect a uncle/niece vibe between the two, even if they are unrelated in any way beyond cosmic origin.

Kinda wonder what he looks like without the mask, if there's even anything behind it.

I'm imaging a scenario now where Soraka didn't just go out to help Warwick out of naivety or a desire to help him, but she was also spurred on by Bard's freedom; he's a wanderer that keeps the peace and stuff, and yet she was stuck in her grove. That's a big point for them I think.

Perhaps the mask is his face; as a celestial being, he is likely not bound to the same rules mortals are.

Soraka having an ulterior motive does not seem appropriate to her character, considering she can be summarized with one word: selfless. Perhaps when Warwick's lore is re-written, her's will be as well. Maybe instead of depriving Soraka of her divinity, the stars take pity on her at the moment of her deception and finally grant her wish to be free.

He has a horn like Soraka and has to do with stars,but his mask reminds me a lot of jax.

I have a feeling that Bard does not have a mask, that is his face. Which could mean Jax also does not have a mask its just his face. If you look they both have the same hands. Bard is a spirit perhaps a celestial one. Maybe Jax is just a different kind of spirit like a spirit of battle.
