Here are my personal top five most likely champions to get the victorious skin for season 9:

  1. Kaisa: This champion is recent, but it seems like such an obvious choice for the victorious skin this year. It's been a long time since it was an adc and she was popular the whole year.
  2. Pyke: Also a recent champion, but like Kai'sa, was popular the whole year. It's been a long time since it was a support as well.
  3. Ezreal: Is always very popular, and is an adc. They could always go with this choice.
  4. Jhin: Similar to Ez. Always decently popular.
  5. Akali /Irelia: Their reworks are recent, but they are very popular, and Riot could consider them as non-midlaners. Far less likely than the 4 choices above, but seems more likely than any other champion from the last list. 6+) Any pick from my last list

The skin doesn't go to a champion just cause they're popular, it's cause of pro play.

My guess will be Aatrox, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Pyke, Akali, or any other champ that was commonly picked for their flex potential this year. Except Sylas since after Elise, Riot won't give champs with only 1 skin the Victorious skin.

I just hope none of the reworks get it.

Although, seeing how Riot likes to promote bullshit, that Akali abomination will get it. She's popular with pros, for some unexplainable reason.

They don't want to make one for extremely popular cash cow champions like Ezreal. Since Victorious skins are free, it would be a waste of effort to give someone like Ezreal a skin that wouldn't make them a profit. Also, they're going on popularity in ranked/pro play, not overall popularity.

How about a Victoriuumi? The kitty cat had such an impact they either had to let the meta fully reform or bury her into the ground until they find a way to rework her.

Edit: I didn't realize she was disqualified from it.

We dont have an assassin one yet. I sure hope my Katarina gets one this was probably one of her best seasons.

Season 1 and 3 were both jg's so I think you're in the wrong about them being disqualified. As such I think it will be Xin XinZhao . He's finally broken into the meta this year and was huge in pro play before the scuttle changes.

so for ADCs Cait, MF(is getting one), Kaisa, Vayne all got prestige skins so i big doubt. Kalista is trash, Quinn isa toplaner mostly, Corki goes mid, graves and kindred are junglers so they are not qualified for the adc role i think, tho they did say graves was a marksman when they gave it to him, which decreases the overall likelihood of adcs(except yasuo?) to get one this season if you ask me. Twitch is a yikes along with kog and varus so rip those i guess. Now Tristana got the community picked skin, ezreal got a battle skin, Lucian got the vice skin, Xayah got the star guardian skin all not too long ago and Ashe just got a legendary skin :p actually i think the battle skins was before project but shh, dont give ezreal a skin please.

Leaving me to believe the best contenders for adc would be Jinx, Jhin or Draven, tho jinx and jhin got skins "not too long ago" but probably long enough ago that it doesnt matter (project for jinx and cosmic for jhin), technically that leaves Draven as the only one that ddidnt get a skin this season but his playstyle is very different and i dont see a lot of people being hyped about him being picked (tho graves is unique too)

Now to support! so, the ones that recently got skins would be Blitz(soon tm at least), Nami, Morg, Lux, Rakan and Shen. Yuumi was released not even half a year ago so throw that in the trash (along with the champion please). Braum seems like an alright contender along with Naut and Pyke, id probably put my money on Pyke but you never know. Karma isnt too popular at least in solo q and in the sup role as well. Brand and zyra can always end up getting them tho both have seen a decrease in popularity compared to last season at least.

Lets be honest tho, the only 1 champion who has his name on the VICTORious skin, make it happen please, idc what role he is nor that they literally just killed him, i want the pun, only question is, Viktorious, or Victorious Viktor? 1st one is 100% better if you ask me.
