Leona X Miss Fortune is now canon

What part of the new lore crushes that? Leona and Diana were part of the same order, at least until Diana became a demigod, and the only interaction between them that was _ chronicled _ (that I remember) is of the meeting with the elders. So there is still hope.

Well there is the bit in Leona's backstory that says Diana was

a troublemaker, well known to Leona from the exasperated woes of the temple elders.

Which clearly says the context in which she knew Diana was from stories not any relationship between the pair.

Then there is of course the part where Leona is thinking about killing Diana just when she's talking, which does take the drama that IronStylus envisioned. Fighting your lover was supposed to be a difficult heartfelt problem. Not one you can just ignore while you plan to kill her before she committed a crime.

Then there is also the bit where they're not at war at the end of their lores. Diana wants to find a way to live in harmony, Leona wants to share information. If they make them past lovers, well who cares then? 2 people were lovers isn't a story it's a footnote. 2 people were lovers and forced to fight each other, that's a story.
