If Fiora treated Lux as a rival simply for being a Crownguard, wouldn't she consider Garen a rival too? Since she doesn't, I'm guessing there's something else to it.
My guess? Lux had some part to play in how Fiora's father was exposed as a fraud, and Fiora blames Lux (partially) for the shaming of her family's name as a result.
Anyone want to chip in to this thought?

Lux is gifted, born with a talent, and magic came to her naturally where as Fiora who train hard to prove herself might resent/feel that Lux never really work for any of it. An example would be like from Naruto, Sasuke born talented and very skillful where as Naruto who was the the weakling who had to bust his ass to reach the other person level. Or at least this is how I see it.

CasterGilgamesh1 voteswell lux was born with magic but she never wanted it she never wanted to be high ranking in demacia she just wanted to live a normal life as a girl but she was dragged from the only home she knew and her parents let this happen. if you want to know where i got this its from her champion judgment i feel like even if the league is no longer part of the lore this until they change it still part of her past it's just she never had the judgment and that's why fiora cant stand her since everything was given to lux but she is unhappy about it
