The great question of when Evelynn will get her much needed VU, can only be answered when some on figures out what/who she is. So from all I can see the issue boils down in getting a back ground together to help hash this out.
So where are we at?
Currently, as far as the ChampUp team's involvement, which would dictate whether she's being work on in preparation for pre-production, I don't believe so. Because she's on our hit list she'll enter the concept pipeline when we're done with our current batch of content. When that happens, our dedicated Narrative resource will jump in as well as the designated representatives from Art and Design.
A lot of us are itching to get at her, however.
I've just accepted that riot doesn't want eve to exist as a champion, they constantly avoid her whenever possible and nuke her from orbit whenever she becomes even remotely decent as a champion even though they reworked her to add levers for power adjustments in the end its always nuke it from orbit responses.
After her rework she literally went from AP assassin, to AD assassin, and to ad tank bruiser all within a few months to boot; and when the new jungle was released they ignored the constant warnings that it would destroy her as a champion and called the 4 armor buff most junglers got good enough for eve.
Now riot can say what they want but this is the exact same behavior they used when eve was eve tier for 2 years and is again eve tier now to the point that people will actually report you for picking eve in a ranked match.
IronStylus, any chance we can get a sneak-peak at some of the visual ideas you have tumbling around the office for Evelynn? Since she's far along, it would be nice to get a discussion rolling like you did with Taric, and see how she can be 'Shadow-Isled'.
