Riot, please expand your Lore Team

Riot, I understand that you're super focused on the game, it's balance issues, champion design, etc., but the lore is also very important to the community (as you can tell from the nearly every day complaints about it)

When we're not playing the game but still thinking about League, a lot of us are reading the lore that was written.

The lore sucks. I mean honestly, it's kinda super bad. Rammus' lore, to put it as light as I can, is incredibly lazy. I don't want your Soon™ or To Be Continued.. If you're going to release lore release it ALL AT ONCE.

You can hint at new champions and update the lore in a more complete way after they're released.. But a one paragraph "story" about Rammus that is less descriptive than his dialogue in game, is not okay.

Expand your lore team with creative forward thinkers, that can bring life to the lore and make it interesting, engaging, DESCRIPTIVE, (and going with the clarity theme here that you're so big on) NOT VAGUE. We want a story that we can follow and connect.. Not speculate and make educated guesses.

You may argue that you're going with something right now and you wanna see where it goes, but seeing as you already trounced about on top of Skarner's lore and changed it, I'm pretty sure you can do the same with mistakes you've made recently.

Thank you.

As of right now, their reason for not having the lore out has nothing to do with the team, but tech issues.

If it is tech issues, and the team is still doing their job, then when it is FINALLY fixed, there will be a shitstorm of lore bursting out.

However, here is what will happen.

People who prefer the previous lore over the new lore (that we would have finally received) will complain. Of course.

Then there will be people who thought, "Finally, Rito listened! About time they did as we said," when in actuality, that one minute thread talking about 'Rito Plz' didn't really do much of anything to the overall scheme of things.

there will also be people who sips their tea, say finally, and go on with their day.

At this moment, everybody who puts up a comment about what the lore team should do will most likely get no response. Not because what they say isn't important, but because if it's about retcon, then the topic was discussed to death. If it's about bringing the lore out, then it has been discussed to death. The lore team stopped "communicating" not becasue they don't, but because it's CSR in self defense mode.

If you're suppose to do customer service, and you're dealing with an angry client, you remain calm and be polite. If you tell the customer it is one thing (and you KNOW that it is that), but the client is still irate, what will you do? Fix the problem! Great! But what if the solution is what the client wants? Well, you can't help them. If they continue yelling and arguing, the best you can do is either stay on the phone until they hang up, or apologize about the inconvenience and end the call. If you stay on that phone and ARGUE with them about why you can't do what they're saying, then that IS BAD!

I prefer a silent lore team that is gnawing their nails muttering, "Fuck, come on...work already, damn," then a vocal lore team who communicates by saying, "For the last time, we can't. We already have a shit-ton of stuff, but the stupid client/server/etc. is not working right."

They are expanding their team, it's just painfully slow.
