Does Rhaast talk directly through Kayn, or does he "speak" through a different method?

Rhaast when in weapon form he talks through his magical way but when he takes over he uses Kayn whole body so.

When in the scythe he speaks to Kayn telepathically. You can tell by how the Voice Lines are modulated. After he takes over Kayn's body the modulation goes away because he is actually speaking.
