Fiora's "French" accent

Why? All other Demacians don't have any perceptible accent. Fiora having an accent seems like an arbitrary decision that is not consistent with the rest of the (excellent) work of the Foundation team.

(And as a French person myself, I need to say that this accent sounds ridiculous ^^')

Because it's made by English speakers. I'm sure the American accents in France sound off to us.

The Demacian noble houses are: Lightshield, Crownguard, Spiritmight, Laurent, Buvelle, and Vayne.

You'll notice the names Lightshield, Crownguard, and Spiritmight all follow a similar naming convention, implying that the noble families came from the same place, and the other three do not follow it, implying they come from somewhere else.

Most likely Demacia was founded as an alliance between two groups of people, and House Laurent keeps the old accent. It appears stubborn pride runs in the family.

Viktor doesn't have any reason to sound Easter-European. Xin doesn't have any reason to sound Asian. Corki doesn't have any reason to sound Southern.

It's a game. Quit thinking too hard about accents.

Probably to embellish the whole "fencer" fantasy since france and fencing have close ties with each other historically.

In the lore though there's several instances of french words so if you want to just embrace it you can say the in game "french" is an old language from northern Valoran or something. I like that idea personally, but that's just me.

It's just part of the character, Caitlyn has a British accent when nobody else (that I know of) has a British accent from Piltover.
