The reason at some point in the future Yordles Camo/Glamour needs to be lifted/removed.

Background for those who don't know, currently, Yordles have a cammo that prevents other people from seeing them as yordles but more as humans. It didn't always used to be this way. But Riot made Yordles into an almost mythical race. Hopefully they are still a race that is.

The problem with the Camo is how it's going to make for awkward storytelling, animation, and comics. Riot will constantly have to explain it in every single situation where a Yordle is met with most other people including champions as we see in Tristana's/Lulus story. Or ignore it and leave a lot of potential plot holes or situations that don't quite line up.

Given how Runeterra has magic and the Glade and Bandle City are pretty free for Riot to do whatever they want with still, they can easily at some point create a story or event that lifts that veil. That would open up a lot more avenues for better storytelling. As well as their introduction to Runeterra as an actual race again.

Given that champions are specifically supposed to be special, unique, and literally legendary people of Runeterra, I think it can be assumed that all champions, human or not, can see through a Yordle's glamour. It might make it tedious for NPCs, but they don't have nearly as much prominence as the main champions, and plenty of NPCs can probably see through glamour as well, especially important ones. So it might not be so tedious after all; at least, I hope this is the route that Riot goes.
