Shadows and Mysteries of Runeterra : Lissandra's Frostgaurds

Hey guys, Welcome to another episode of Shadows and Mysteries of Runeterra. I have now decided that I will do this Twice a week(on which days? Um that will be random.^^) I want to make this a mini series where we discuss about various things. I will add a poll of what i believe what people would like to talk about. If it's a topic you guys feel like talking about, feel free to comment and it could be brought up in the next discussion. dialMark4Action has inspired me to start this with his "Facts, Myths, and Theories."

The last episode of Shadows and Mysteries of Runeterra was about Noxus and the Black Rose. Which can be read here. Todays Episode, which was chosen by poll, is about Lissandra and her shady Frostguard.

Ok, so the land of the Freljord is well rounded and we know a lot about various areas around the land. BUT, what we don't know too much about is Lissandra's tribe, which is the Frostgaurd. Well, actually I suppose we do. But much of the Freljord doesn't. Lissandra is cooking up a devious scheme and is hiding it from the rest of the world.

   **"I will bury the world in ice"** -Lissandra

A lady name Lissandra is their leader, who is seemingly a nice benevolent woman. And the tribe seems the same also. However, during Quinn's stay on their side of the land, she notice that its not all just smiley faces kindness. She she snuck around the city to stumble upon a mysterious Ritual that was going on deep in their city. Only to be chased down by the Ice Witch the next day.

"No one will remember them" -Lissandra

What we know about Lissandra's evil scheme, is that she is using the frostguard to help her bring back the evil watchers. She is deceiving them like she deceived her own kind, which was the Iceborn. I believe that frostgaurd are aware of Lissandra's magic, which is even more motivation to help bring back these mysterious beings known as the watchers. And yet, they help hide everything from the world in order to achieve their own goal.

Seeing that Sejuani and Ashe already have powerful armies, I am sure that the Frostguard have militia as well. Backed by the magic of the Ice Witch, I don't know if any of the other armies in the Frejlord could stand a chance. Lissandra is neutral for now, but it has been stated that there is a war going on between the three sisters. But does Ashe or Sejuani suspect Lissandra? I do not think so, they are too busy fightimg each other to know about anything the Frostguard are doing. Seeing how they hold many of the ancient relics from that land they can be considered to be more deadlier than the other armies. I Lissandra finally went to war with either one, I'm sure they would use relic's like frozen mallet or something we don't even know yet. So it is safe to say that they are the strongest right now.

Further more I wonder is Ashe and Sejuani can put their differences aside and fight together and stop something before it becomes a huge problem. I mean, its their best chance. Lissandra has corrupted the Frostguard like she hoped to and now their plan is set in motion. Anivia has already given warnings about the land's magic being slowly corrupted. So i would suggest this ancient rivaly coems to a stanstill or end so they can stop a great evil. The frostguard are nothing like they were and are Lissandras pawns. Imagine them all being turned into iceborn. I don't think they could win against a whole army of iceborn.

But hey, good always wins right? I'm sure something in the Freljord is going to expose The frosguard for what they are really doing. Demacia seems to have a hint of whats going on with them thanks to Quinn. Worst come to worst, Ashe and Sejuani are going to team up to take down the Ice Witch and her underlings. That way all can be saved from being "Buried in ice"
