New Soraka Lore to follow new Warwick?

Not saying it's going to happen immediately (as a matter of fact it seems like Zaun is gonna get a full lore rework with new Warwicks launch), but with Warwick being a test subject rather than a college of Singed, it must mean that ripping Sorakas still beating heart from her chest is not on his to do list anymore? The story went that her heart was what was needed to stave off his insanity.

She probably isn't showing up in Zaun herself any time soon, unless maybe she goes on some sort of humanitarian mission to heal the sick in Zaun, nor does Warwick seem to feel the need to leave it any time soon.

Am I the only one thinking maybe they'll give her some sort of connection with Bard or much closer ties with Ionia and/or an Ionian champion?

Well, it does say that Soraka is tied to the Ionia faction, and Aurlieon Sol has a voice line directed toward her.

Well, it does say that Soraka is tied to the Ionia faction, and Aurlieon Sol has a voice line directed toward her.

I suspected something being rewritten in the direction of AurelionSol , but he seems a little more concerned about Targon than Ionia IMO.

Personally i agree she will likely be more closely tied to Ionia and nothing to do with anymore. He does have a new VO line to pay homage to the old lore though "eat your heart out" when taunting . I suspect in a future Ionia event she may become rewritten as a star/constellation spirit of some sort.

I better get a star guardian skin out of that rework if thats the case xd.

She has always been a cosmic being who lost her immortality in her original lore, and she is the Starchild. Her new lore might not be written in a way that has AurelionSol concerned for her, but he knows of her or who she really is. I can see Soraka closely related to Bard too.
