Can we not just judge the new champion based on her looks before anything gets properly revealed?

Honestly. Emerging threads are already speaking about her appearance. Not that I just encourage Riot to make "sexy champions" but Riot has taken steps to avoid this "Riot is sexist" and "Supermodels sell" issue. Just look at the last line of female champions. It's very unfair to throw tomatoes at this champion just because the artist made her "attrative, sexy, etc."

We haven't even gotten her proper reveal yet and people are already up in arms about riot making a woman vs some void abomination. It was hinted several times that it would be a woman; Swain's quotes, Void marksman. Can will please not start these threads?

I have 0 problem with attractive Champions. I think having them does not make Riot sexist at all. I generally like them.

My main critique for the new Champion's design is that it's generic, safe and disappointing. They had an opportunity to make a really creepy champ, and instead we get something pretty standard. She also doesn't feel unique, visually. I (and Riot, mind you) want every Champ to feel distinct, and Kai'Sa feels like we've seen her in this game before, plenty of times. The attractiveness is not inherently the problem.

I think the critiques about her "sexiness" mainly stem from the fact that she is a survivor of the Void. One would expect someone that survived a horrifying dimension to be a little more twisted than this design. Thus, the attractiveness feels cheap, not like it suits the character. We are not suggesting every woman released from now on can't be sexy just because MF exists or something, but for this character in particular? It feels out of place.

Considering that everyone else we've met has been horribly warped by the Void from even brief exposure, it's understandable that people would be puzzled over this new champ coming out of years being stranded there with zero physiological alterations.

I'm reserving judgement until we get her long-lore, but the reason had better be pretty amazing. Otherwise this is a clear case of violating standing lore for the sake of sex appeal.

She lived isolated from humans for years and her small lore tidbit makes it sound like she considers staying on the side of the void,so why would she need to be sexy?

She is sex appealing character for no reason. I wouldn't mind if she was from any other region but Void literally doesn't make sense. And i am not gonna accept the reasons behind it because it is easy to cover up "we wanted money lmao" with any excuse.

I like Riot, and I would gladly like to see them as the best game company ever. I support them. I want them to improve and have quality. That doesn't mean I will accept everything they do blindly, they need criticize to improve.

theres someone for every champion, SOMEONE is going to find the new champions sexy no matter what they look like. Hell- I'm positive someone has a thing for kog'maw.
