They made less ''Piratey McPirate'', or like IronStylus and various others called it,
removing a cliche archetype from the game, that has nothing to do with Valoran…

At least Rioters pointed out several times, that

Yeah, Annie's fashion always felt like they didn't fit in the world of Runeterra. Unless there's some isolated region with modern day clothing.
Annie for the longest time was the only champion to age (And i think still is), Pretty sure she went from 9-10 to 14 now, at this rate she should be around 18/19 Now, but then you got them fuckin Pedos and oh god, we can't let that shit happen.
