With how popular League is, why is there no book series yet?

Warcraft's got it Warhammer's got it Heck even Runescape's got it You could make BANK with this idea Riot! Just pick a champion and write about em, I don't care who it is.

Considering League of Legends is in the process of rewriting their lore, I'd say we have to wait quite a while longer.

Look at how poorly they are handling lore, if you want to read books to go a fucking library.

The JoJ was cancelled in part because they got feedback from players that it was "too long". The JoJ was, at most, 5 pages an issue.

What you kinda always have to keep in mind as a Lore fan is that we're sorta in a minority. A lot of people who play League are way more interested in how XXProGamerXX plays the new champ than the new champ's story (Compare the boards on the sidebar. We've gotta be combined with Art and Sound to even make a dent.) Lore just isn't advertised to players NEARLY as much.

You combine that with the fact that a lot of the Lore is still in a bit of a state of upheaval and rewrites, and there's really not much solid. I'd love a League book, but it sadly probably isn't happening. Something full length with the quality of Burning Tides or S&F would be fantastic, but with Riot's current priorities RE: Lore, I'd consider it an extreme long shot.

I like to think that Riot is saving up all it's paper for a time when League's popularity is dimming, and then they'll suddenly release all the lore as books and all the art, also as books. And that will be the dankest meme ever known.

League of legends book series

Though I would want it to be more of a comic or graphic novel than a full on book. I sort of lose interest in books when it's just paragraphs of text and no pictures to create a scene for me .__.

The real question is why they haven't made a nice show series about it, whether it be a collection of shorts of the various backstories of characters or critical moments they have had in their life whether its reminisce or the actual moment traveled back into. They could even push it on creating a set of tales 'outside' of the League with the various characters doing activities to push further into showing off their own personalities and what not if they wanted to extend it far enough. I've seen plenty of online games create side story or side game sort of gags which sometimes doesn't directly relate to the actual online game but can turn into pretty neat lore expanding for the 'series' itself.

I mean who wouldn't love to see a few short 15 to 30 minute episodes like Annie creating 'Tibbers' by capturing that one particular dangerous wildlife, Lucian and his Wife's tragic moment against fighting Thresh, Amumu's tragic tale of solitude, A brief moment in Kindred's dealing with one on their deathbed figuratively speaking, Bard once again working to protect existence, Draven's rise of turning what were grim executions into a show of the prisoners getting one last chance to live if they can manage to escape Draven.

You could literally have several episodes alone just from just using a champion's backstory lore alone and even then they could further milk it with interactions with other champions or even more 'hilarious type of trope moments' (Such as a bunch of female characters in a anime hunting down a 'pervert' with one of them usually ready to open fire and neuter the pervert with a gunshot blast without a single thought), would especially drum up League of Legend's popularity i could say, likely higher at least then it already is i mean. Not to mention the amount of merchandise that could be brought into it from pushing a show series in too.
