Irelia is tier 1 VGU priority and these skins all show some kind of telekietic blade fantasy, especially Yi.
Mad ravings or is there a possibility of these skins foreshadowing Irelia's VGU?

While I doubt that the skins pipeline magically was able to coordinate something like this with the VGU team like OP seems to think, I have to say, they all have really cool, uniquely Ionian aesthetics we haven't seen much of outside of skins.
Can you tell me (unofficially of course) if you think that these skins are probably in the same aesthetic ballpark as a future Irelia VGU? i.e. are they similar to what you expect Irelia's new visuals and updated - and properly nuIonia - aesthetic would be? I would think that if nothing else it's at least a kind of benchmark of Ionian-ness, and would be on the team's mind when going at her in a future VGU.

Talvaren1 votesas an interesting thought as that is, it is more likely these skins are based on Chinese culture. To be more specific I think they are based on modern Chinese kung fu fantasy films, like "Journey to the West" and "The Sorcerer and the White Snake".
