Would sins of the father plot be a good way to make Jarvan IV more complex?
Sins of the father: terrible things Jarvan III that his son finds out about

I honestly already think Jarvan's persona is already skewing this way.
New Demacia is very insular and wary (at least in the capital), but Jarvan has forged a pretty ironclad friendship with Shyvana, who's about the most foreign thing possible, and even a little magical.
Fiora's lore states that Demacian society is very misogynistic, but one of Jarvan's most trusted allies is Shyvana, who is a woman. If Quinn's old journals still hold up as canon as well, he's also working with her. So he already seems more open-minded than previous kings.
We don't really know enough about J3 to accuse him of any wrongdoing in particular, but Jarvan IV seems interested enough in changing things that I could see him having a somewhat estranged relationship with his dad.
Define terrible, and would J4 even be bothered?
