Mount Targon is home to Pantheon Leona Diana, all who have a strong association with Greek/Roman mythology.

Pantheon is inspired by Greek war figures Leonidas and the god of war Ares. He also has a Perseus skin in which Cassiopeia's face can be seen on his shield. This further alludes more into the legend of Medusa. Also, he has a gladiator skin: Glaive Warrior Pantheon Diana's name is similar to the Roman goddess of the hunt and moon Diana. Her Greek equivalent is Artemis. The moon obviously has strong associations with Diana. Not to mention, her entire assassin play style makes her a good enemy hunter. Leona is not as obvious as the other two. Serving as a counterpart to Diana in the lore, she follows the Solari's tribe's belief, which is worshiping the sun. The goddess of the moon Diana/Artemis had a twin brother known as Apollo (both in Greek and Roman). He was the god of the sun, music, and poetry. Serving as Diana's/Artemis's counterpart, he parallels how Leona juxtaposes Diana. Then there is Alistar whose birthplace was the Great Barrier, a mountain range stretching all the way from the east to the west of central Valoran. It separates Valoran into its two hemispheres: North and South. It's highest peak is of course Mount Targon, inspired by Mount Olympus, the home of all Greek deities. As we know, Alistar has strong associations with Greek mythology, since he is a Minotaur, so it only makes sense that he lives nearby Mount Targon.

Anyways, we need more champions and back story to Mount Targon.

Shurima, Bilgewater, Freljord (still a mystery), Demacia, Noxus, Ionia, the Shadow Isles (still a mystery), Bandle City, Piltover, Zaun, and the Void (still a mystery) all have more backstory than Mount Targon.
