@Riot: Dicey question, but will any Champions have "Rape as backstory"?

(I do not condone rape in any shape or form.)

When you look at some characters, some of them inevitably are violated as part of their tragic backstory. I'd rather not post up any examples right now, but I'm sure you can think of plenty.

Now, not to say that I condone it at all, but it does result in more developed backgrounds when used right. Heck, it could've even been used properly in MF's background (i.e. Gangplank violates her before shooting her), and it would've made her background even more... well, you get the idea.

So far, League has not treaded into such controversial territory, but that doesn't mean they necessarily can't. The question is, does Riot's lore team want to open that proverbial can of worms? Or is it too dark to even allude to it indirectly?

Well I think we can assume that Gangplank has done it at some point...

Well, you realize Graves los his cigar because of... whatever it was. And you're asking for what?

Well, I mean... there's Thresh and Lucian's wife Senna. It's a bit odd that people are totally fine with "then Thresh imprisoned her soul to torture for eternity" but not ok with "and he violated her too". Ripping a person apart? Acceptable. Sexual violence? UNacceptable. Both are wrong, evil and heinous... it just blows my mind where people decide to get offended.

That said, I think we all know that Shaco has been raping people for years. Usually at their red buff at level 2.

I suppose it would depend. From a story standpoint you have to do rape super carefully because one wrong step and EVERYTHING is wrong with it. It's a super delicate subject and I feel like Riot might be bold enough to try it, but I'd also say they'd be smart enough to not touch it if they feel what they will write or have written is just not appropriate for the subject matter.

Thresh rapes people in every way except sexually, I mean he violates peoples souls just for laughs, like geez man calm down.
