I love how the skin was modernized but the orange tips on the helmet look/feel out of place and make him look overly goofy. I know that you wanted to go with the molten metal/flame theme for his look but he just doesn't pull it off, not with that old Rig.
So, could we please just leave the helmet a uniform Grey/Silver? Overall the skin looks so much better but the horns are really off-putting

We appreciate the feedback! I grabbed your feedback and brought it back to the team for discussion this morning, and we're all aligned with swapping his helmet back to the silver that it was before.
We had wanted to better align his model with the splash, but without having VFX support, it came out looking less than optimal.
You'll see these changes hitting PBE Monday. :)

Upside of the updates is Sona finally got her long hair. It's been too long.
DW, they're gonna add back in his orange crotch spike as well so that it ties it all together.
i think perhaps they should hold off on the burning helmet until AFTER they give him a vgu where he has flaming particles to go along with it

The helmet color is weird. Idk why they don't make his shoulder armor on fire like in the splash.

Perhaps it's just a temporary change until his VGU. Give them time, perhaps they'll remove the molten tips (unless they'll do it later in the PBE) and give him the rockin' fire cape.
I am more concerned about the light purple tone and brown for a metal skin... It does not feel metal, when it should feel "METAL AF!" for Mordekaiser. I mean... Blue/purple shoulderpads? Brown leather gloves? Orange helmet? I would be fine with the orange part if it was animated, then it would be more of a homage to Rammstein and their insane pyro fireworks for their costumes or something along those lines. It becomes even more apparent when the new Pentakill Kayle skin is done so well in all black : /
I have the same opinion about Karthus, Mordekaiser and Yorick too: they go too far away from the all-black metal look. Bring them back... BACK IN BLACK! #PentakillBackInBlack

I think they should make it a darker orange/red. Maybe like a rust color or like Hextech Galio color? I don't know, its just too bright, and doesn't even match the axe.
I don't see an issue with the helmet really. Eyes look really wonky though.
At least he's not wearing a tuxedo.
