Is Leblanc linked to Pre-Noxus and Mordekaiser?

One thing I just realized was that since Morde is proto-noxian and that the Black Rose and Leblanc and the Black Rose has existed form a time before the foundation of modern Noxus. I am wondering if she may or may not have been alive of when Mordekaiser ruled the Immortal Bastion and if she has some ties with him as she and Elise are allies and Elise is affiliated with the Shadow Isles. because right now Morde has his eyes on his old home and Noxus is build around it, so the question is, Is Elise an Ambassador, a spy or a loosely affiliated member of the Black Rose, because future events may involve a war between the two factions as the Harrowing may come to Noxus.

Also Leblanc has always been very secretive and her alliances may either be to herself and the Black Rose, to Swain or even worse, Mordekaiser himself, so all of this is food for thought.

There would be a possibility that the Magelords, Morderkaiser liches, and the Dark Magic users in Zileans lore all have unified and connections to one another to some extend.

The Protectorate looks like its pre-creation Demacia as a matter of fact.

Could be they existed >= the time when morde was around. since we don't know when they were formed it's safe to say they were around earliest when Morde came to power. The magelords being pre-noxians and the protectorates being Demacians could be true and what could lend extra credibility was that Aatrox was portrayed as a savior of sorts in the stained glass, while in noxus he was shown in his true form.

Also, Noxus seems more aggressive and magic aligned while Demacia is more defensive and physical, so it could be true that the Black Rose is descended from the Magelords.

A Little note I'd like to at is that most the nobility of Noxus have high magic or magical potential, as even Katarina is (part) mage.

Yeah but there is evidence that the current Leblanc is the original, either through a disguise or outright possession, its hard to say what is true.

The previous leader of Noxus, Darkwill, lived for a very long time, speculated through necromantic means. I wouldnt be suprised at all if LB used similair magics.

True. Noxus does use necrotic magic. I think it could have been passed down from the previous rule or the Black Rose kept it for themselves. so that could be a possibility. Also if that is the case. Then I think that it's Leblanc NOT Swain or Darkwill that rules Noxus

Wouldnt be suprised. She is a deceiver and a manipulator, though I think ole swain would know if hes being bamboozled. He is a "master tactician" after all, implying hes quite smart, but sometimes even the smart can be fooled.

True, another thing that bothers me is the fact he seems to trust them a little to much or at least, a little to affiliated with them. Also on the subject of Swains position in the Black Rose is Darius and his opinion on the matter. Darius is someone that hates the nobility of Noxus and While he is allies with Swain because he sees him as the best candidate to bring Noxus glory. I wonder how long Darius would be silent on Swain's alliance with someone that is more or less everything he stands against.

Back on Swain. If this was a plot to replace Darkwill for being incompetent and use Swain as their next figure head, I am not surprised, Swain is talented but he is also not a dumbass, so it remains to be seen if he has Fallen to the Black Rose or if he is outplaying them.

If I would have to guess who would eventually outplay who when It comes to this little game of betrayal... My guess would be Swain would win, Leblanc seems to be too arrogant to think something could go wrong. But that's just my random late night thought ;p summoner 31

I Think it's a case of talent vs experience. Swain is implied to be a one of a kind general, and he is extremely smart. But like you said, Leblanc has been in the game or longer so it does depend on her being arrogant or wise about swain. But I think that both Swain and Leblanc needed each other by guessing LB's quote and Swains path of success.

Yeah I think that It might be possible but Morde wants his home back, and he ain't some dude that wants to stay in the SI forever. He simply doesn't give a fuck about it. I don't think Swain wants to give the throne to Morde and Noxians are not pussies in general so If Leblanc is planning with Morde, she better have something to seriously screw the shadow Isles over, because they are playing with fire.

Also, The last Face was a 800 year+ dumbass that got off'ed because of it, so I am a little worried about Swain.

Darius is the muscle but he is not dumb. I think he knows on some level at least considering that Sion was ressurected and Swain is in cahoots with a secret society wink to have been able to carry it out. In my books, Swain is playing a dangerous game with Darius, and he is sandwiched between Darius who wants a free and pure Noxus that stands by strength, and Leblanc who seeks control behind the shadows and aren't gonna give two cents about noxus itself. But We don't know what Swain wants for Noxus and what his motivations are.

Also I think that Noxus might end up in a civil war if they not enforcing their motto, "Forever strong!". Darkwill and the nobility are magic users and they don't really display strength. most of them are scheming assholes that love debauchery and hedonism and let the rest of the people suffer for it. And the Black Rose don't seem that big on their nations Idea, Darius is the living embodiment of that motto and Swain himself is a tough guy for not giving a damn about an exposed fracture as a child. so maybe I am thinking that the two are the reason the BR is getting back. they are leeching of the badassery of the two and just using them for it.

Darius willing to do good for noxus but Swain is a tricky one. Maybe he also wants to do good for noxus as well or is he could be a power hungry general? But seeing that Darius is still with him. I think the two got a plan for the Black Rose should bad blood ever happen between him and LB. But what is scary is if the black rose is aligned with the shadow isle, thinks are gonna be messy.

Another worry is actually Riven. She is more or less wondering Runeterra to create a new idea of Noxus so if she quits being a loner and inspire people shit could go really bad for them.

And lastly Katarina and Cassiopeia are both the last thorn in their side as they are still looking for their father's whereabouts and if they find out the truth, that could also lead to an insurrection.
