With the new skins we can pretty much see Teemos old squad/members and from what we have to go from, pretty much they're all dead excluding Teemo.
The thing that's got me asking myself now is who are they actually fighting? Does anyone know? and will there be future skins referencing the other side of the battle?
The omega squad sure looks pretty strong so it got me wondering what kind of enemy was strong enough to take them out in the first place?
A few theories have been going around that Twitch murdered the Squad. Teemo looks very panicked in the Omega Squad Twitch Splash and overall, Twitch doesn't look to belong in the team.
Anyone want to make a full Omega Squad skin team in remembrance of Teemos fallen comrades?
I have a theory that they're fighting the Battlecast or PROJECT initiative.
My lil' head canon is that the Battlecast, PROJECT( thought i already know PROJECT and Battlecast are in the same universe. ), Program, Eternum(just because it seems like it'd fit), and Omega Squad skins are all part of one dark alternate future of Runeterra.
If I remember right, i think i read somewhere that in the "possible" future that the mecha/battlecast skins are part of, some skins like the Omega Squad and pulsefire skins are also there? idk exactly but i think the project skins are part of it as well since iirc the scientist guy in the project Yi video was from zaun
it could be that in the battle cast and mecha future, omega squad is the last stand between those who haven't fallen to the machines and the machines them selves think kinda like terminator or matrix and they are working with the programs being inside the machine and them outside it. seeing as they all look slightly enhanced twitches breathing aparatus, tristanas eye, the rest of the helmets
The question I want to know is how they all died (except Teemo because he's still alive) Was someone a traitor? Did a battle go wrong? Or were they just thought to have died but are actually still alive? Just what's the answer behind this mystery?
It doesn't have to do anything with someone threatening Bandle City because Twitch and Fizz wouldn't give a crap and since Veigar is also helping them its surely a bigger threat
