Snowdown Skin Sales & Merry Christmas Snowdown Shop

I was very excited when I looked at my personal Snowdown Shop. As a big-time Sion main, I was offered a discount on Hextech Sion! So I bought him for 312 RP.

Just now was like, "hey, shit, I bet . . ." and sure enough, Hextech Sion on sale on the 29th.

Now, I realize there is only a 52 RP price difference, which amounts to like $0.40. But I was curious who thought it would be a good idea to put a system in place where the "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" reward to a player was actually worse than the scheduled advertised sale. Under no circumstances should the "Merry Christmas" thing be worse than a sale that will be held thru to the 30th. It just isn't right. The system should at least match the price on a snowdown sale so that players like me who didn't check everything thoroughly don't get screwed, even if just a little.
