Are the Darkin the Four/five horsemen and if so

Where does that put them on the power scale lore wise? I mean the horsemen are meant to herald the end of all life. So does this mean they are cosmic or are their in game quotes just talk?

Imo just talk. They are probably very powerful, but more in the sense of one man armies if anything.

probably, if a human like Kayn is able to destroy them (which i can't actually figure out why he'd do that, if darkin are powerful)

Yes they are based on the 4 horsemen. Does that mean that they are exactly the same?No it doesn't. The darkin are likely not the bringers of the apocalypse in runeterra

I mean Nasus is based on Anubis,yet he isn't a god,but a human who ascended into a more powerful being. Wukong is literally named after Sun Wukong,yet the 2 have some big differences in their stories.

Yes Kayn is death, Varus is strife, and aatrox is war. All are supposed Darkin if the knew special interactions are right.
