World building: Faction Relationships

One thing I'm interested in Runterra is how Kingdoms, Empires, and cities interact with each other. Such as corporations and industries sending their product to other regions outside their own. Or if Demacia would allow non military citizens in and out of their kingdom. Lets list some possiblities.

  • Demacians are known for thier courage and self-defined Justice. Would they be willing to actually let some none hostile Noxians in if they seek to tour or live there? Or does Demacia's harsh laws forbid this? I would think Demacia would take immagration seriously and make any who wishes to live there serve x yrs in their military just prove their worht of living there...(one the least favorable places for me)
  • Also, Demacia seems to be interested in trade goods(because who wouldn't) as they traded with Freljord. Even before piracy plagued Demacia. Would they be interested in tradign with Zaun or are they too "Demacia" for them?

  • Noxians are the opposite of Demacians. Might is right is this Empire's whole meaning. Of course...everyone in Noxus is not like Darius. Noxus must have their fair share of relations too. Despite being view as a Evil Empire by most. They seem to have no problem with Zaun, but its for war reasons. Common among lands that wage war. However, Morgana's Sinful Succulence has to been known by others outside of Noxus. I mean it's a bakery, who couldn't. Even though Bandle city inhabatants view Noxus racist towards them, wouldn't they still find some benefit in Noxus like her bakery? If I was a Yordle, I would trust Morgana Morgana over Caitlyn Piltover's cupcakes.
  • I wouldn't dare list Ionia as a possible Location for Noxian diplomacy. But I would find people like Syndra Syndra likely to side with Noxus. Particully because she wants the Karma elders dead. They make her for not having balance in her powers and also threatened to seal her power.

  • First of All, Piltover is a City. A city that excels in inventions and sciences. Self proclaimed "City of Progress." While others bicker with each other, this city focuses on tomarrow. I'm not big on people who believe steampunk is the way in fashion, but maybe its more Fable 3 like. As I said with Demcia and Noxus, Pilties and Zaun? Well it seems these two cities do not mind if one another enters either city. Viktor walked in Piltover as did ekko, and Jayce walked in Zaun. Piltover seems to be friendly with nearly everyone. Outlaws like Graves Graves and TwistedFate Tobias got in somehow.

  • -If a Freljrodian walked in with his/her custom attire, would they get judged? Im sure, judgmental pilties! Fasion seems to be a big thing in Piltover. How would it seem if a Ionian bought Piltover clothes because they liked it? I can see a really flaymboyant Piltie designer ready to dress one.   • How would a Zaun felt if a Piltie walked in there? Nothing apparently otherwise Ajuna would be alive.(Care) Zaun seems to not care about wars either. Why would they? It's a city. However, devious inhabatants like Singed singed would be interested. Zaun has become one of my favorite places thanks to Ekko Ekko. They do care about who walks in "Great. Pilties" "run little Pilties" "You're in the wrong neighborhood" -Ekko Only a portion of Zaun would care, and its mainly to their rival Piltover. A Demcian could walk in Zaun.......but will they leave? Maybe, absent their belongings and money. Zaun is a pretty dangerous place. However, Zaun has its features just like anywhere else. Such Techmaturgy and other things. A know some lowly Demacian's would be dying to try that out. *Zaun can be trusted with the right people. You only need to find them. Inventing a time machine would astonish Piltover- an achievement that they haven't accomplished. I'm sure theres other inventions sprawling throughout Zaun. Living there seems easy there. If a Demacian did want to migrate to Zaun they could...just have to get use to using Technology.

What are some other things that could show possibilities of diplomacy in Runeterra?

I don't think Syndra would side too much with Noxus simply because of their hate for each other that she still might share. The thing is though, Noxus is all about strength, and a place like that would easily allow Syndra to climb the ladder and would fit to her ideals.

I'm not fully sure weather or not Syndra would side with Noxus. She may share ideals with them, but she may also be sore at them for invading her home.

I do think she will be the center piece in an Ionian lore event though, having attained enough power, or even aligned with Zed to take down the leader ship she believes held her back.

Is that an accurate picture of Noxus? Cause...wow they are not helping their not evil image.

From what I understand, Pitover is science focused on what benefits a society as a whole while Zuan is more self interested. I don't know much lore on them. Though Zuan does have good people, like Zac and his adoptive parents. Heck his adoptive parents (both Zuan scientists) are the reason he's a nice guy because of how they raised him.

I approve of the message that being a mad scientist does not get in the way of being a good parent. Heinz Doofenshmirtz would approve!
