Namely, Kitana, Jade, Tanya, etc. I'd certainly like to see some of Kitana added to Akali, especially those bladed fans. I honestly think blade fans would be more ninja-like than those kamas, but that's just me.

I honestly hope they do. I disagree with the change of weapon, Akali's Kama's are unique. Akali really gives me this Jade friom Mortal Kombat feel overall though.
In general I kinda wonder what they'll do with akali. I mean when they updated Shen,they gave him a spirit sword and I am pretty sure that this was done to make him stand out thematically among the ninja and the whole champion roster as well. And I think that Akali is currently the weakest of the 4 ninjas when it comes to thematic uniqueness(Zed has his shadow clones,Kennen is basically the electro master of the game and like I said,Shen has now his spirit sword),i mean what makes her different from the other Ninjas?The only thing is that she is the only one who is female(so she'd be a kunoichi),but that doesn't seem like much compared to the others.
