Riot, have you thought of other rift changes beyond the winter rift?

I'm just curious because someone on Reddit brought up the idea of a sandy/Pool Party Rift around pool party time. The idea sounds rather neat but I imagine that you might have to remake the rift from scratch in order to do that since the new rift is more of a painting.

But did other concepts come to mind when working on the new snow rift? And if so, are they possible within the next year or so (I doubt you'd have time to make a sandy rift after making the new snow rift).

Well for quite some time now we pretty much get a new map every year. 2012 got the new Twisted treeline 2013 got the howling abyss 2014 got the new summoners rift 2015 got the butchers bridge 2016 got the winter rift(also some additional poros for the howling abyss)

And honestly,the winter rift looks like the smallest project out of all of these. I mean the other maps were completely new,wheras the winter rift still uses a large amount of the regular summoners rift.

So it wouldn't surprise me if the 2017 map comes out during summer or something like that.

There are 2 that come to mind that we could potentially get. A pool party map skin and a Lunar Revel map skin. Aside from that, the only Ideas I could think of are versions of maps using skin lines as themes. Something like an Arcade Howling Abyss or a Bioforge vs Steel Legion TT. They could potentially do some reskins for different regions such as an Ionian SR or Piltover ~~the map formerly known as~~ Dominion, but then we might have the same issue we have with the lore where you want a certain place to get one, but might not happen for years.

I don't know how well it would work, considering Color-blind players already struggle with the Snowdown Summoner rift.

But i honestly would love to see a variation, An Ionia skin or a Shurima skin, with jungle camps skins and plants to match.

Technically they would be the same creature and mechanics, just cosmetically different.

Currently the summoners rift is a tropical zone, barely changing in seasons except winter, would be awesome if there was a summer map, an autumn map or shadow isles map, all in the summoners rift.
