Who caused the explosion in Zaun? Is it why Vi Joined Cait? Jinx hinted

So i'm wondering about this because there was an explosion zaun that was mentioned in Vi's and Oriana's lore. But this explosion is rumored to cause Vi's disappearance. Jinx was also mentioned.

I don't think it's the same considering (if my memory serves from this stuff) Orianna's been around for much longer than most of Piltover's cast, and so the explosion in her lore was probably years and years before the stuff happening in the present day.

I think the explosion mentioned in Orianna's lore is the opening of the commercial passage that destroyed half of Zaun.

But yeah, in Vi's lore, it's definitely about Jinx bringing mayhem. It might be.

The problem is that we don't know the Vi/Jinx relationship ( i think a Rioter confirmed they weren't sisters back when Jinx got out, and with the howling Abyss interaction ). She isn't mentioned in Vi's description, which does delve quite in her teenage/gang days, so they probably weren't in the same gang.

It might be they were from the same orphanage, or were taken and experimented on at the same time.

It is also true that it's strange such a rebellious character works with Caitlyn.
